He gave an evil chuckle as he thought of a delicious image.

“What are you laughing at, Uncle?”

“Oh nothing…nothing you need concern yourself with yet.”

“You have that look in your eye again…. I should tell Mother.”

“Do you wish to see your dear Uncle injured?” ‘

“No…”  Kendal frowned. He supposed he’d never know what was on his uncle’s mind at this point.

“Perhaps one day I will tell you.”

“I love you, uncle. I know you’ll do what’s right for me.”  He smiled, sidling closer, bringing himself as close as he dared to kiss his cheek.  “Handsome Vergil~”

A gentle smile crept over his lips, as he leaned into the kiss, lifting his hand to lace his fingers into Kendal’s soft tresses. “I love you aswell, my beloved nephew.”

Whatever physical attraction drew them together, perhaps it may never see the light of day.  He pressed his lips to his skin, smooth and shaven.  He backed away, though didn’t stray far away to withdraw from his touch in his hair.  “Beloved?”  He smiled. “I like the sound of that. Perhaps I’ll write a song for you in Fortuna.”

“Yes, my beloved nephew.” His smile brightened as he ran his thumb along Kendal’s cheek, multi-hued blue eyes shinning as he leaned closer, nuzzling his cheek against his neck before drawing back. “When do you leave?”
